A customer emails you with a question. Here is how to find their payment in ten seconds.
Search
At the top of the Transactions tab there is a search box.
You can search by name, email address, payment ID, or property. Type any of them.
The email address is usually the fastest, because it is the one thing a customer always gives you.
Filter by status
The Status dropdown narrows the list to one kind of payment: Paid, Pending, Failed, Refunded, Charged back, and the rest.
Useful in practice for two things. Filtering on Pending shows you the payments that never completed, which is worth glancing at occasionally. Filtering on Refunded gives you a list of everything you have given back.
Filter by type
The Type dropdown separates what people bought.
Membership. A package. Property submission. A single listing. Featured listing. A promotion.
Filter by payment kind
One-time only or Recurring only.
This is how you see, at a glance, how much of your income is subscriptions rather than one-off sales. It is a genuinely useful number, and most people never look at it.
Filter by mode
Live + Test, Live only, or Test only.
Set it to Live only when you are looking at your real business. Your test payments are still in the list otherwise, and they will quietly distort your sense of how you are doing.
Filter by date
The From and To fields limit the list to a period. Useful at the end of a month, or when a customer says “I paid you in March”.
Reset
The Reset button clears every filter and gives you the whole list back. Worth remembering when the screen looks empty and you cannot work out why: you probably still have a filter on from last time.
