Most payment plugins give you a list of transactions and leave you to work out what it means. This one does the working out.
Where to find it
Go to Mollie Payments. The Analytics tab is the first thing you see.
The plugin updates it in real time, so what you are looking at is what is happening.
What it is for
Not admiring. Deciding.
Every number here answers a question you would otherwise be guessing at. Which package actually sells. Whether people are abandoning your checkout. Whether your income is growing or you just had a good week. Which payment method your customers really use, as opposed to the one you assumed they used.
Start with three numbers
Ignore everything else on your first visit. Look at these.
Revenue. What came in.
Conversion rate. How many people who started a payment actually finished it.
Successful payments. How many sales you made.
If those three look right, your setup works. If conversion is low, something at your checkout is scaring people away, and that is worth an hour of your time.
Refresh
There is a Refresh button at the top. The data is live, but if you have been staring at the screen for twenty minutes, press it.
What Single Site gets
Everything you need to run the business: revenue, conversion, payment outcomes, customers, revenue over time, a breakdown by status and by payment method, and all the filters.
What Business and Agency add
The analysis on top: recurring revenue metrics, refunds and net revenue, your top customers, where they are, when they buy, a forecast, and the ability to export any of it.
If you are on Single Site, those sections are simply not shown. Nothing is broken.
