Your license unlocks the settings and keeps you supplied with updates. It takes under a minute.
Find your key
It was emailed to you the moment you bought, and it is in your account on our website.
It is a long string of letters and numbers. Copy it carefully.
Activate it
In your WordPress admin, click Mollie Payments in the left menu.
The plugin opens on the License tab. You will see a field with the words “Enter your license key here” in it.
Paste your key into that field and click Activate license.
The plugin checks with our server. After a moment the page fills in with your details: your name, your email, your plan, how many activations you have left, and your expiry date.
If you can see that, you are done.
What this unlocks
Every configuration tab becomes available: API keys, payment methods, currency, emails, analytics and the rest. Before activation they stay locked, deliberately, so nobody sets up a plugin that is not licensed for that website.
If your key is refused
Work down this list. One of these is almost always it.
An invisible space. Copying from an email often drags a space along with it. Paste your key into a plain text editor first, check there is nothing before or after it, then copy it again.
You have used all your activations. The License tab tells you how many you have left. If it says none, deactivate the license on a website you no longer use, or move up a plan.
Your host is blocking the connection. The plugin has to reach our server to check the key. Some hosts block outgoing connections by default. If you suspect this, ask your host whether outgoing HTTPS requests are allowed.
If none of that helps, message us. We can see your license from our side and we will fix it quickly.
Moving to another website
On the site you are leaving, open the License tab and click Deactivate license. That frees the slot, and you can activate the key on the new site straight away.
There is also a Re-check status button. Use it if you have just renewed and the plugin has not caught up yet.
What happens next
The plugin is unlocked. Now you connect it to Mollie.
