Before you email anyone, including us, run this. It usually finds the answer.
Where
Go to Mollie Payments, then the System tab.
Click Run checks.
The plugin describes it as a live check of your environment, integrations and recent errors, and it makes a suggestion we would repeat: use this page when you contact support. We will almost certainly ask for it.
Reading the results
The plugin explains its own colours on the page.
Green. Everything works as expected.
Grey. Informational. Not an issue.
Amber. A warning. Not critical, but worth addressing.
Red. An error. Requires attention, and some features may not work.
The five checks that catch most problems
Look at the Health section first.
Houzez theme. If Houzez is not the active theme, the plugin has nothing to attach to.
Gateway mode. If this warns that Houzez WooCommerce mode is on, Mollie is being bypassed entirely, and nothing else you try will help until you fix it.
API key. If none is configured, the plugin cannot talk to Mollie at all.
Webhook. If it is not configured, payments will complete at Mollie and nothing will happen on your website. This is the cause of the most confusing problem there is.
License. If this is not active, your settings tabs are locked.
The section that answers the most support emails
Scroll to Payment methods (plugin vs Mollie).
It shows two lists side by side: what you have enabled in the plugin, and what is genuinely active in your Mollie account.
Anything in the first list that is missing from the second will never appear at your checkout, no matter how many times you tick it.
That one comparison answers a surprising proportion of the questions we get.
Recent errors
The last section will probably tell you that debug logging is off.
That is normal, and it is deliberate. Logging is off by default because it writes to your database, and most sites never need it.
If you are chasing a problem, switch it on, reproduce the problem, and come back. The next article explains how.
Send it to us
Copy the report and paste it into your message.
It leaves your API keys out, so it is safe to send. And it means we can usually answer you properly the first time, instead of asking you to go and check six things and waiting a day for each answer.
